SCHOLARSHIPS 2009

Part of our mission here at St. Francis is to support our youth. We do this in many ways, among them, through our Scholarship Fund.  This fund helps to defray some of the costs of a college education for our graduating seniors. 

To apply, you must be:

• An active, practicing member of St. Francis Xavier Church in New Milford, CT.

• A graduating high school senior who will be accepted to an accredited college, university, technical college, junior college, community college, trade school, etc., for the Fall 2009 semester.

MISSION STATEMENT: We are the faith community of Saint Francis Xavier in New Milford, Connecticut, dedicated to continuing the mission of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition.  We prolaim the Good News using our time, talent and treasure to reach the new, the wandering, the poor and the unloved.  United in God, we are committed to growth in faith through worship, spirituality, outreach, education, and fellowship.  Empowered by the Holy Spirit and nourished by Word and Eucharist, we seek a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ as we passionately share Christ's love with all people.
